I've been listening to a podcast hosted by Spike Feresten who wrote it with Jerry. Apparently Kellogg had no idea this was getting made.

Opening my store mailbox yesterday got me thinking about what makes a great team. 1. Communication. The ability to discuss ideas freely. To brainstorm. To actively listen to one another to reach a better understanding for all. 2. Feedback. To give AND receive it, regardless of your position. The concept of giving and receiving it daily to better yourself as an individual and a contributor. 3. Accountability. The self awareness to identify your own strengths and those of others. To celebrate yourself and also dial in to where you could apply more focus to growwww. 🌱4. Fun. Bringing your best self to your team. Laughing. Celebrating the wins. Being joyful. Togetherness. Q1 was awesome. Feels great to be recognized because we did it together, every step of the way. Steve Cooper Kelly Fry Sunglass Hut

👋Team Member Feature:Terri Kaupp, Operations ManagerTerri has a hand in every win at MDRG: she clears the path and provides the tools that are so crucial for our success. Her integrity, consistency, and attentiveness keep us all on track and prepared to do our best. And if that wasn't enough, one of Terri's greatest strengths is her smile. She's the first face new team members see, and she sets the tone for our company culture. Lucky us to have her on the team!Get to know Terri... What's your favorite thing about your role with MDRG?💪"I like being able to keep everything running (hopefully) seamlessly in the background. If the team is able to do everything they need to without issues, then I am doing something right."What do you do for fun?🐕"Hang out with family and grand puppies, I love going to concerts, got to see some incredible shows in 2023. Currently learning how to crochet – I have always wanted to learn."What's your favorite beverage & why?✨"Diet Coke – I don’t drink coffee so this is my only source of caffeine. I also enjoying trying the different poppi & OLIPOP PBC “healthy sodas” as a healthier alternative."

Yesterday was people day. A farewell party gave us a chance to get a lot of people together around what really matters. Booze. Strike that...Friends. Team. Clients. Partners.Clients and partners turned into team. Clients, partners and teams turned into friends. In short? People.People from here. People from there. People from everywhere, in fact. But people. At the end of the day, people is everything that matters.Fun, passion, business, team-building, leadership-building… whatever you have in mind, people are the foundation that get you going, and the glue that keeps everything together. Some get inspired by whatever's in the air. Others are inspiring and get you to your own next level. Some learn from what you can say. Others teach you through passion, experience, and humility. Some come to be with you and gift you with their time, attention and trust. Others bring friends and expand your horizon in ways you never expected. Some can't make it because, well, baby is finally on the way. But they still care enough to let you know they're around in spirit. One thing is certain, people leave their mark on you. And they are the best fuel ever for comes next, whatever that is.I can't wait, and I'm grateful. Thanks!Until next time,A. #team #people #grateful https://lnkd.in/ghSZ44NB

    It's all about people, isn't it? uptoyou.am

You would be surprised with the difference you can make when your people feel appreciated. People who feel unappreciated with their talents, will end up leaving you. Losing even one loyal person can create such a downward spiral. Show your people that you appreciate them, before you lose them. :) #Appreciation #Loyalty #People #Talent

Ever stepped back and asked what will people remember about you at work? It's not what you think.Check out this awesome visual/image by Eric Partaker that perfectly captures it.We all want that recognitionWe all want to climb that ladderWe all want to crush that next big projectBut...How you do it is more important than the end result.Because in the end nobody remembers-How much you got paid-How much bonus you got-How many hours you worked-How many awards did you getInstead...People will remember-How you made them feel-How accountable you were-How well you worked as a team-How much fun you had along the wayAt the end of the day, what truly matters are the awesome relationships and friendships that were built along the way! What else would you add to the list? I'd love to hear your thoughts. Comment below 👇---If you like my content, follow me Neil Shah for daily learnings such as these.Repost 🔁 so others can also learn.
