It’s pretty normal to wonder, “Is he the one?” whenever you enter a new relationship.
The beginning of it feels so good; everything is warm and happy, you go out on dates regularly, he always showers, you still do your hair, everything seems effortlessly flawless.
And as time goes on, you can't help yourself but wonder, “Is he the one?” It seems like he is. You get along on just about everything. He likes to watch the same movies you do. He doesn’t even mind the corny romantic comedies you always cry to.
Your friends all like him; in fact, your girlfriends are all envious that you found such a great guy.
“Where did you find him?! I want one!” They all swoon every time you go out, and he kisses you on the cheek or holds your hand in front of everyone.
On paper, he’s perfect.
In theory, he’s perfect. And yet, something feels off. It’s been three years now, and you still can’t shake that feeling off. Something is missing, and you don’t know what. But what you do know is that your partner, the one who you and everyone else thought was so perfect, is actually not the one.
