Ingredients and Substitutions

  • Cherry tomatoes - You could use grape tomatoes or even vine ripe tomoatoes if you had to.
  • Red Pepper Flakes - These don't add much heat but rather a depth that's only developed with a little bit. If you don't have any or have a sensitivity, simply leave them out.
  • Salted Butter - Regular butter and a pinch of salt works just fine as a replacement.
  • Garlic Cloves - Fresh garlic adds so much flavor so I don't recommend using jarred shelf stable garli.
  • Trader Joe's Ricotta & Lemon Zest Ravioli - These are some of my fav trader joe's raviolis. But truth be told, you could use any of your fav trader joe's raviolis!
  • Burrata - Ricotta, goat cheese or even boursin would also make great substitutions.
  • Basil - Fresh basil adds so much flavor. If you don't have any or don't want to go to the store, don't worry about it. It'll still be delish!
  • Lemon Zested - Lemon zest adds just the right amount of citrus without it being too tart. If you don't have any lemons, just leave it off.
  • Finishing Olive Oil - I get asked every single day what kind of finishing oil I use and the answer is always GRAZA!
