Throughout the ages, the words “hard work” and “luck” have been battling it out. For some individuals, it’s just a percentage of luck, whereas for some, – years of hard work is what weighs out heavier and to be more prominent.
Different individuals have different stories to convey and different perspectives to share. It’s not wise and fair to judge someone based on their own verdict, whether luck wins or hard work for them. Who knows how much pain a farmer experiences while cultivating crops? No matter how lucky they are by birth, they have to work super hard every day to feed themselves and their family. Whereas, you will also find an individual who is just an ordinary person like all of us but getting super famous overnight by uploading his best piece on the internet. The fact is that the singer, writer, musician, or anyone uploading their best piece on the internet, getting fame and recognition, has written, scrapped, and thrown away thousands of pieces consistently before coming up with his best piece.
We only know what we witness as the final product or piece. Still, we tend to overlook the consistent actions that go behind the lens, i.e. immense hard work. Do any of us think that the person who got fame and popularity might not be lucky? No right? We all think that the individual has got hold of his lucky stars like anything. But the truth is only known to the person who has worked hard days and nights but just to be told that it’s all overnight success, fortunately, or unfortunately.
The reality is that you cannot exclude hard work and struggle from someone’s life story and say it was only a luck factor working for the person. No individual on this earth can reach a destination with only luck. We all must work hard to be consistent in our actions to succeed. Yes, luck only makes things a bit easy when complemented by hard work. It is like when you rub two stones together; only then do the sparks occur. Similarly, when you polish your luck with hard work, only then does your life shine and sparkle.
So it can be concluded that luck and hard work are not opposites; rather, they are complementary to each other. So you should always work hard no matter how much your parents or astrologers tell you how lucky you are; always remember that without hard work, your luck will never be fruitful enough. Now, luck definitely does exist, but not in the same proportion for everyone. So you should always work hard anyway to enjoy the minimum fruit, and who knows, you create your luck along the way?
