There are 20 waves in the Joint Revenge map, called 'JR' for short. Normal difficulty is unlocked by beating Ragefist Chieftain on normal difficulty, hard is unlocked by beating The Joint Revenge on normal difficulty, and nightmare difficulty is unlocked by beating Ragefist Chieftain on nightmare difficulty.
Many have said that there is a significant difference in difficulty between Ragefist Chieftain and JR Normal as well as JR Normal and JR Hard. However, The Joint Revenge is by far the best source for gold, gems, summoning orbs, and summoning stones, outside of exploiting glitches, the Seller, or the Monitor, so new players should primarily farm it, as long they can clear the first wave reliably. Usually, you can obtain a minimum of 23 summons with JR normal.
Methods For Triumph[]
JR Normal:[]
Place your totem'd main DPS, probably Stacky or Infernus when you first unlock JR, in the front row, and add whatever you want in the back (epics and legendaries if you have any that aren't worth putting between Mighty and Speedy. If you don't have any, commons and rares work as well.) Farm JR even if you die at wave 2. As long as you can clear wave 1 reliably, which you should if you beat Ragefist Chieftain, and are active enough to restart when you lose, this will be the fastest way to get Summoning Orbs. Spam 10 orb summons as much as possible to try and get a legendary such as Kevin, Ash, Lightning, or Puffy. If you get one, upgrade it. If not, Stacky/Infernus is fine. Level 200-220 Stacky/Infernus and Mighty, and a level 10 Speedy, should be able to clear the whole normal mode. Clearing JR Normal unlocks the legendary monster Slime King, and access to JR Hard.
JR Hard:[]
Once JR Normal is cleared, totem either Slime King or Kevin, and place them in the front row. It doesn't really matter which one you use, but Kevin has a higher Attack, Speed, and range on his normal attack, while Slime King's special is a 2s global stun, deals the same amount of damage as his normal attack, and is the second best global CC in the game. Whichever you choose, max it and Mighty as soon as possible; it is suggested using a macro or your AFK earnings to upgrade. When Slime King/Kevin and Mighty are at level 400, and Speedy is at level 10, you should be able to clear. If your total star tier on Speedy, Mighty, and Slime King/Kevin is high, you may be able to clear the map with lower levels. Clearing JR Hard unlocks the legendary monster Deathbite, and access to The King on Nightmare difficulty.
JR Nightmare:[]
For JR Nightmare, there are several ways to clear it, but all are extremely difficult. It is possible to clear by using a level 500 Felina, buffed by a maxed out Mighty and Speedy in the back row, but this is extremely expensive, and a max star, level 400+ Mr. Flamey(the evolved form of Flamey) in the front row, along with a level 500, max star Clyde, buffed by either Speedy or Horus, can also clear it. In most set-ups, placing 3 monsters with strong crowd control in the middle row is highly recommended.
