The King[]
The King is the first map players will be faced with when they start playing Summoner's Greed. As with the rest of the Classic Maps, it has three difficulties: Normal, Hard, and Nightmare. All enemies on this map are either Humans, Goblins, or Knomes. They are all type-less. The King has 60 waves to defeat, divided into 3 distinct tiers, which are distinguished by the common enemies that appear during them: Waves 1-20 spawn Soldiers and Warriors. Waves 21-40 spawn Elite Soldiers and Berzerkers. Waves 41-60 spawn Royal Soldiers and Royal Warriors. Furthermore, heroes will appear in the upper right corner at set times to support their allies, and eventually enter battle themselves: A Knight appears on wave 6, and attacks on wave 10. A Mage appears on wave 16, and attacks on wave 20. The Dark Knight appears on wave 26, and attacks on wave 30. The Dark Mage appears on wave 36, and attacks on wave 40, alongside a second Dark Knight. The Archmage appears on wave 46, and attacks on wave 50. The King himself appears on wave 56, and attacks on wave 60, alongside a second Archmage. Beating The King on normal difficulty unlocks access to The King on hard difficulty, Ragefist Chieftain on normal difficulty, The Evil Summoner challenge map, and access to the map selection menu(which can be used at any time to change maps, or even restart the current one). To unlock nightmare difficulty, you must beat The Joint Revenge on hard difficulty. Beating The King on nightmare difficulty unlocks Ragefist Chieftain on nightmare difficulty.
