How much are 1000 Scene+ points worth? ›

Redeem 1,000 Scene+ points for $10 toward your purchase at participating grocery stores and pharmacy locations.

SCENE and Scotia Bonus Points programs merge to become Scene+. You'll still have access to the rewards you love from your Scotia Rewards program, including travel, Apple and Best Buy catalogues and more. All Scotiabank products that used to earn Scotia Rewards points will now earn Scene+ points as of November 22, 2021.

You can redeem 100 points for $1 in value that can be applied towards groceries, meals at some of Canada's best restaurants, movie tickets and concessions, and more.

No, your Scene+ points will not expire as long as your Scotiabank product that is eligible for the Scene+ program remains open. If you close your Scotiabank product you will remain an active Scene+ member and points will only expire after 24 months of inactivity.

What is the best thing to spend scene points on? ›

The highest redemption value for Scene+ points comes by redeeming them on travel purchases, either through the dedicated redemption portal powered by Expedia or by offsetting any travel purchase charged to your card. By redeeming points this way, you'll get a fixed value of 1 cent per point (cpp).

Every SCENE Member with a SCENE ScotiaCard receives Points for their debit card purchases made from an eligible account (see above). You will receive 1 SCENE Point for every $5.00 you spend at all other merchants.
