Reintegration is the process in which a User physically erases their Program, or more, in the computer world by absorbing their being into them. This process is consequential as the User does not survive it and a giant explosion erupts from it.[1]

In order to prevent Clu 2 and his army from entering the Real World, Kevin Flynn sacrificed himself by reintegrating Clu as well as his army. The result of this was a large explosion that erased all of Clu's army throughout the Tron system, making the Grid a free system again.
