How to get Obsidian Rose easily? ›

This item can be obtained from a Bone Serpent, Fire Imp or by breaking pots in the Underworld.

Qty. The Obsidian Rose is an accessory that reduces lava's base damage from 80 to 35 / 50 . It has a 1/20 (5%) / 1/50 (2%) chance of being dropped by Fire Imps, an enemy found in The Underworld.

(Desktop, Console and Mobile versions) The Obsidian Rose can be dropped by Fire Imps spawned from the Imp Statue, albeit at a reduced drop rate of 1/400 (0.25%) rather than the usual 1/20 (5%).

Fire Imps require a target space of at least four vertical air spaces and three horizontal air spaces to teleport into a location. Despite this, they only need three vertical air spaces and two horizontal ones to spawn. Fire Imps spawn more frequently as long as there are less than four other enemies on the screen.

The Obsidian Skull is an accessory that grants immunity to the burning damage normally inflicted by contact with Meteorite and Hellstone. It does not grant immunity to lava or other fire-based attacks.

The Obsidian Skull Rose grants the wearer immunity to the Burning debuff. However, it doesn't give the player wearing this accessory immunity to lava.

Since they do not drop coins, keys cannot be dropped by Meteor Heads, enemies spawned by a statue, critters, Old One's Army enemies, or any enemy spawned by a Celestial Pillar in the Lunar Events.

The Jungle Rose is a vanity item which can be harvested from the floor of the Jungle. It can be equipped in the social accessory slot. Jungle Roses appear as 1 block tall red flowers on Jungle grass. Cutting them drops a Jungle Rose, with a chance of 1/20 (5%).

You can also look for a dinosaur called Ankylosaurus since they yield the most Obsidian from one node and their high weight usually lets you carry more of the resource as well. Simply use an Argentavis to carry the Ankylosaurus on these mountains and use its attack to get the Obsidian.
