The Fourth Great Ninja War was started by Obito Uchiha and Kabuto Yakushi together to attain the Eight and Nine-Tails and complete the Eye of the Moon project. This war saw all the Five Great Nations join forces for the first time in history against a common threat.

As with every war, the Fourth Great Ninja War saw the rise of some of the greatest people and the fall of others. Here are Naruto's 5 biggest winners of the Fourth Great Ninja War and 5 people who suffered the biggest losses.
10 Winner: Might Guy
Might Guy was a major player in the Fourth Great Ninja War and much of it was down to his incredible clashes against some powerful characters like the Ninja Swordsmen, the Bijuu, and even Madara Uchiha.
Guy's biggest contribution was to buy time for Naruto Uzumaki by holding back Madara Uchiha using his very own life. He opened all the Eight Inner Gates and gave the fans a glimpse of what he was truly capable of doing against Madara.
9 Loser: Madara Uchiha
The Fourth Great Ninja War saw an incredible antagonist rise in Madara Uchiha. He was reanimated by none other than Kabuto Yakushi and then brought back to life later on by Zetsu using the Rinne Tensei.
Although nearly everything went according to Madara's plan in the war, he was still stopped in his ways by Naruto and Sasuke, and later, struck down by a duplicitous Black Zetsu.
8 Winner: Naruto Uzumaki
Naruto Uzumaki was the biggest Hero of the Fourth Great Ninja War and he put in most of the effort to make sure that peace prevailed at the end of the day. Not only did he defeat the reanimated Kage, but he also went on to fight and defeat Obito Uchiha, and later Kaguya Otsutsuki.
For Naruto, the biggest victory came later on against Sasuke at the Valley of the End. Thanks to his help, Sasuke returned to the village, which is what Naruto had always wanted.
7 Loser: Kabuto Yakushi
Along with Obito, Kabuto was a big player in the Fourth Great Ninja War and he was responsible for the majority of the strong opponents that the alliance had to face.
RELATED:
After Orochimaru's death, he perfected the art of Edo Tensei and revived countless strong shinobi from the past. His biggest mistake was to reanimate Itachi Uchiha, which eventually led to his downfall.
6 Winner: Sasuke Uchiha
Sasuke Uchiha entered the Fourth Great Ninja War quite late, however, once he did, he quickly started influencing the battlefield with his great might. As expected, Sasuke eventually wanted to lead a revolution where he would take on the entire hatred of the world on his shoulders and become a common enemy for the shinobi world.
He was stopped in his ways by none other than Naruto Uzumaki and ultimately, he could do nothing but admit his defeat, thus breaking the cycle of hatred.
5 Loser: Black Zetsu
The master manipulator, Black Zetsu quietly played his role from within the shadows and got Madara Uchiha to turn himself into a vessel for Kaguya Otsutsuki to reincarnate into.
Although he succeeded in the majority of his goals, Black Zetsu was eventually defeated and effectively sealed by Naruto Uzumaki at the end of the war. Evidently, he was the biggest loser of the Fourth Great Ninja War.
4 Winner: Kakashi Hatake
Also known as Kakashi of the Sharingan, he was a significant addition to the Allied Shinobi Forces, as expected of someone as strong as him. Kakashi showed how skilled he truly was in this war and even fought against Kaguya Otsutsuki towards the end.
RELATED:
The Fourth Great Ninja War was quite hard on him, especially since Obito was revealed to be the perpetrator, however, he stuck to his shinobi code and succeeded, at the end of the day.
3 Loser: Kaguya Otsutsuki
Kaguya Otsutsuki was the final villain of the Fourth Great Ninja War and she was revealed to be the strongest foe to have ever appeared in the series. Kaguya aimed to steal the chakra of all of mankind and turn them into White Zetsu to prepare for the fight to come against Momoshiki and Kinshiki.
While she was strong, she was still beatable and thanks to the combined effort of Team 7 and Obito Uchiha, Kaguya was defeated.
2 Winner: Itachi Uchiha
Itachi was one of the greatest shinobi to have ever lived and throughout his life as a ninja, he did what was best for the village time and again. After having been reanimated by Kabuto Yakushi during the war, Itachi was one of the only two people to break the Jutsu.
He was able to defeat Kabuto in battle and even made him cancel the Edo Tensei. Once again, Itachi did this without taking any credit and saved the world from the shadows, like always.
1 Loser: Obito Uchiha
Obito was primarily responsible for starting the Fourth Great Ninja War. Although he did have a change of heart towards the end, Obito still led to the death of countless innocents at the end of the day.
He committed some of the most atrocious acts to see his goal fulfilled and while he did help stop Madara and Kaguya, he was the one who created the mess in the first place. Obito did redeem himself in the eyes of Naruto but he still goes down as a big loser of the war.
