Kevin
Hello! Once I saw a few boys at the street and heard the phrase "It's meta". Can you explain to me what does it mean and in what situations they use it (not the meaning of meta as a prefix)? Give me please examples if it is possible. Thanks!

"Meta" is used to describe something self-referential (self-aware). For example, when somebody's making a movie about making a movie - that's meta. Or when you're writing a post on Facebook about being on Facebook, telling a joke about jokes, or reading a story about reading stories. Is this clear? :)

When it is not used as a prefix “meta” is used as slang to describe something that's awesome or uber.META is also used in gaming as an acronym for “Most Effective Tactic Available”
