I have had Apple Card for a while and absolutely love using it on my phone. I couple months ago my apple subscriptions stopped being paid for by my Apple Card. Not only this, but any purchase on the App Store and iTunes stores are not being processed through my Apple Card. Apple Pay works perfectly fine when paying at physical locations and at online stores. It is only when attempting to pay apple subscriptions and App Store/iTunes purchases that the card becomes unrecognised and asks for verification. I attempt to complete verification which seems to require only my Face ID in my phones settings. Face ID is approved as verification for the card only to later return an "Unable to Add Card" Message. I am certain I am using the same iCloud associated with my account as it has not changed since I first started using apple products. I have changed iPhones for unrelated reasons and the same issue persists. No matter the network or apple product the result is the same. Apple Card Support has had me disassociate and reinstall my Apple Card in apple wallet only to see no change in the problem, and said that there is nothing more they can do or assist. Apple Support hangs up on my after 20-60 minutes of attempting to communicate me to a department or supervisor that can resolve the persistent dilemma. Multiple calls have been made to both these departments resulting in much disappointment and no useful solution. I look forward to using my Apple Card to pay for my apple subscriptions and App Store/iTunes purchases soon. Any help or recommendations are appreciated.
tl;dr
My Apple Card is not accepted for App Store and Apple subscriptions. Every attempt from Apple Card and apple support to solve the problem has been useless.

- Cannot verify payment informationHi I tried to add payment method with my new debit card that was suspended 2days ago but can activate now, but it didn't work. (Because my card is sometimes so old that it doesn't work) After that, I tried to add new payment method with a new card, but it said can't verify payment info and I couldn't even pay to something. So I went back to the bank, and they solved it in three hours and they said now it's going to work. So I tried to add payment method again, but nothing has changed. - Verification required???Ever since I’ve updated my iPhone 11 weird stuff has been going on. I was trying to re-download a free app I’ve had before but for some reason it keeps telling me to sign in to view billing information. Then when I do that it keeps saying something is wrong with my card when there’s literally nothing wrong with it!!? But when I go to download a brand new app that I’ve never had before that is also free I have no issue’s downloading it!!!!!! Apple has some explaining to do because this doesn’t make sense. NOTHING IS WRONG WITH MY CARD!!! I’ve tried at least 20 times and nothing is wrong with it. It keeps making me put my card in over and over again and it’s getting ridiculous to the point where I might switch over to Samsung!! 2742

Yo, I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with using your Apple Card for App Store and Apple subscriptions. Here are a few things you can try to resolve the issue.
- Make sure that your Apple Card is set as your default payment method in your Apple ID payment settings. You can check this by going to Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apple ID > Payment Information.
- Check that your Apple Card is up-to-date and has not expired. You can verify this by going to Wallet and tapping on your Apple Card.
- Contact your bank or financial institution to see if there are any issues with your card or account that may be preventing it from being used for App Store and Apple subscriptions.
- Try removing and re-adding your Apple Card to your Apple ID payment settings. To do this, go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > Apple Card > Remove Card. Then, add the card again by tapping Add Card.
- If none of the above steps work, you can contact Apple Support again and request to speak to a senior advisor or manager to escalate the issue.
I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions.
Regards,
Nanoman

Thank you for such a swift response Nanoman. I recommend you hurry less and actually read the post before blurting out thoughtless replies. Here are my responses to each of your recommendations:
- Thank you for reminding me to mention that the Apple Card is the only payment method in my settings (aside from Apple Cash) associated to my Apple ID. And still it states that it requires a verification that it refuses to accept.
- Obviously the Apple Card is current and up-to-date. I mention it is still available for payments at physical locations and online shopping, a matter I greatly appreciate.
- Apple Card is managed by Goldman Sachs. Their Apple Card contact number is 877 255 5923. I recall it with ease because as I mentioned I have called them on multiple occasions now about this issue.
- Removing and re-adding the Apple Card was done with Apple Card support on the phone and it did nothing to alleviate the problem.
- Apple Support has been utterly useless throughout this entire ordeal.

No, unfortunately they keep avoiding the problem and passing the blame/responsibility back and forth from Apple Card to Apple Support.

I read you previous post. What have they had you try to do to remedy the verification issue? I don’t want to have you repeat a bunch of the same steps for nothing.
