Can you log into iCloud without a verification code? ›

If you use iOS 11.3 or later on your iPhone, you might not need to enter a verification code. In some cases, your trusted phone number can be automatically verified in the background on your iPhone. It's one less thing to do, and your account is still protected with two-factor authentication.

Navigate to the “Account Settings” or “Security” section. Look for the option to manage two-factor authentication. Disable two-factor authentication temporarily. Sign in to iCloud on the device where you want to bypass 2FA.

Go to your Apple ID Account Page and then click on the “Forget Apple ID or Passcode”. Enter your locked Apple ID, select the option for resetting your password, and then hit the “Continue” option. Enter your recovery key. Choose your trusted device where you would like to receive a verification code.

If you're trying to sign in and don't have a trusted device with you that can display verification codes, you can tap Didn't Get a Code on the sign-in screen and choose to send a code to one of your trusted phone numbers.

To resend the verification email, sign in to your Apple ID account page. Click Resend next to the email address that you want to verify, and we'll send an email to that address.

You can also go to the Apple ID account website to help you find your Apple ID. Go to the Apple ID account website, click Sign In, click “Forgot Apple ID or password?” then follow the onscreen instructions.
