I don't know if this is helpful, but when you are looking at the Payment Options page (Property > Rules & Policies > Payment Options) make sure you don't see a little red dot next to any of these:
Recently several of my clients received the same message and they had to complete the Direct debit authorization (in all cases) and some had to complete the Tax form (if they hadn't already done so).
I think everyone has to complete the Direct debit authorization form because when VRBO rolled out their new payment system recently they did not include that authorization in the initial roll out. Everyone has to complete that form to give VRBO permission to debit their bank accounts if needed, for refund or chargeback purposes.
If you don't see a red dot next to those items I would assume your account is ok, but you could always call Customer Support and ask them to take a look at it. Their number is (877) 202-4291.
Select Change bank account. If you don't currently have a bank account set up, choose Add bank details. Note: As a security measure, you must enter the old account details before you can enter the new account details.
Make sure your credit card and billing information is entered correctly. Confirm your card hasn't expired. Confirm the booking cost doesn't exceed the credit card transaction limit. Some banks may restrict your ability to pay online or block transactions for fraud protection.
You can book a property online when the listing states: 24 Hour Confirmation or Instant Book. To book a property online using Visa, Mastercard, or American Express, follow these steps: Find the property you wish to book.
Depending on your bank's policies, the money will be available in your bank account approximately five to seven business days later. If you are a new partner and your first booking is less than 30 days away, the payout is sent to your bank account approximately 30 days after the guest's payment.
You will receive a confirmation email with the breakdown of when payments are due. A few days before the due date of the next payment you will receive an email with a link to use to pay. We do not automatically charge the credit card you used for the first payment.
Select Settings, then select Damage protection.Select either Property damage protection or Damage deposit: If you select Property damage protection, choose a coverage amount to offer your guests. If you select Damage deposit, enter the amount you require.
