Jokes aside, passing through these gantries can be quite costly without some prior planning or adjustments to your schedule. Some drivers find every means to avoid paying ERP altogether, at the expense of driving a longer route thus wasting time and fuel.
Well fear not, we’re here to show you how the ERP Checker on the Breeze Drive & Park app can easily save you time and money!
Step 1: Enter your destination
Launch the Breeze app and search for your destination. Do not select “Route”.
Step 2: Select “ERP Checker”
Tap on “ERP Checker” then key in your date and time of departure.
Step 3: Enter your starting location
Key in your current location and tap “Search ERP".
Step 4: Compare different routes
Preview a list of routes (ERP rates included), and select your preferred route.
Step 5: View ERP Rates
See where ERP rates are going up or down in real-time, and get live rates based on time belts. Tap on “Plan Trip” to get going or save it for later!
