Change Purchase Sharing settings in Family Sharing on Mac? ›

To change these settings, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click Family in the sidebar, then click Purchase Sharing. If you don't see Family in the sidebar, set up Family Sharing. To set up Purchase Sharing, click Continue, then click Turn On Purchase Sharing.

Go to Settings > [your name] > Family Sharing. Tap Purchase Sharing, then turn off Share Purchases with Family. If the organizer wants to turn off purchase sharing entirely, they can tap Stop Purchase Sharing.

If you can't add a payment method

Is your payment method accepted in your country or region? Check what payment methods you can use with your Apple Account. If you're using an accepted payment method but your Apple Account is set to a different country or region, change your country or region.

If you're a member of a Family Sharing group and Purchase Sharing is enabled, you will not have the option to add payment method. This is because all payments goes through the organizer.

With Family Sharing, you and up to five other family members can share access to Apple services like iCloud+, Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Fitness+, Apple News+, and Apple Arcade.

Go to Settings. Tap your name, then tap Family Sharing. Tap your name. Tap Stop Family Sharing.

On your Mac, select a disk, folder, or file, then choose File > Get Info. If the information in Sharing & Permissions isn't visible, click the arrow . (You may also need to scroll down.) Select a user or group in the Name column, click the pop-up menu, then choose a privilege setting.

Turn on screen sharing on your Mac

On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click General in the sidebar, then click Sharing. (You may need to scroll down.) If Remote Management is turned on, turn it off. You can't have both Screen Sharing and Remote Management on at the same time.
