The Forty Under 40 awards are given annually to 40 local business leaders under the age of 40 for their career achievements and community involvement. Winners are chosen by a panel of past recipients who weigh equally business successes and civic/philanthropic activities.

How are the Top 40 selected? Each year, we receive hundreds of nominations for the Avenue Top 40 Under 40. From those nominations our editorial staff create a short list of approximately 80 nominees who have demonstrated the highest levels of achievement, whether in their career or community work.
