Struggling with Fat Loss Plateau? 🚫💪I get it – hitting the gym hard, shedding those pounds, and then suddenly... nothing. But guess what? It’s totally normal! As you lose weight, your body adjusts, burning fewer calories throughout the day and during workouts. It’s all about that calorie deficit, folks! Before you jump ship, ask yourself a few questions:❓ Are you maintaining the same level of discipline as when you started?❓ Are you pushing yourself as hard in your workouts?❓ Are you tracking your progress accurately? If you’re nodding along, then give it 14 days before making any changes. Here’s a game plan:✅ Up your step count outside of gym sessions✅ Superset exercises and cut down on rest times✅ Add an extra workout day to your routineAnd only as a last resort, consider reducing calories. For more practical tips like these, stay tuned and show some love! ❤️👊@snapfitness.frimley #FatLossJourney #FitnessPlateau #WorkoutTips #FitnessMotivation #WeightLossStruggle #FitnessGoals #HealthyLiving #FitnessTips #PlateauBuster #KeepPushing

You can't just go workout and expect results. 😯You need to go in with a plan, and the workout needs to change as your muscles adapt.Or else you will stop seeing progress. 📉Weight is relative to where you are currently at.The weight of everyone else in the gym doesn't matter. What you lifted in college doesn't matter. 👨🎓The weight that is currently challenging to you is all that matters. When you get stronger you need to adjust. 📈One metric to measure by is your RPE.Or rate of perceived exertion. In simple terms how difficult is it to lift the weight for X number of reps. 💪Find weight that continues to be challenging for maximal muscle growth.Obviously there is more to programming a workout but this is one important metric to keep in mind.If you want to learn more come join me over on my community by clicking the 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gCQ7ym6u#movementculture #prehab #rehab #primalmovement #movnat #fitness #mobility #deskbound #painrelief #primalhealthcoach #healthcoach #guthealth #primalnutrition #functionalfitness #functionalmovement #breathwork #mindset #mindsetshift #skool

Have 10 minutes? That’s all you need to make a difference. 🕒Here’s why:- Short, high-impact body weight workouts (think squats, lunges, and planks) can boost strength and metabolism.- Consistency matters more than duration—daily small efforts can lead to big results over time.So don’t stress about long gym sessions! Start with a few moves you enjoy, and build from there. Fitness should fit into your life, not take it over. 💪 For lots of short home workouts and quick, healthy recipes comment "Energy" or message us for our free Holiday Energizer Pack!

This is why you don’t look like you workout! After having all 3 of my boys I went to the gym regularly. I would get to the gym and go on Pinterest and pick a workout to do that I had saved. There was no rhyme or reason, I didn’t understand what muscle I was working or how many reps I should be doing. I usually picked a HIIT workout thinking I was working more muscles that way. Not understanding that HIIT is a cardio style workout. Until I gained the knowledge of how to put workouts together to work specific muscles, I did not see muscle gains. Going through the motions to get through a workout without intention on the muscle you are working is not going to yield the results your looking for. To gain muscle start doing the following: - Start with compound movement. For example, squat, dead lift, bench press - Do 3 compound movements and 2 isolated muscle movements. - Keep track of your sets and reps. Keep a note in your phone dedicated to your workouts, that way you know where to start next time. - Concentrate on 5-6 movements and having good form. - Push yourself to failure. Lift the heaviest weight you can without compromising form. 🆘 Comment 💪🏽 for a 🆓 3 day workout split. #strengthtrainingforwomen #momswholift #healthcoachingtips #healthcoach

Designing my workouts with the FITT principle… but with a twist!I always add an “E” at the end for ENJOYMENT. Because let’s face it, if you’re not enjoying what you’re doing, why even do it? 💪Today’s shoulder day was a fun one, even though it was just me in the gym. I’m grateful I can still lift—even if it means keeping the weight close to my body. It’s ironic: I can overhead press 135 pounds, but struggle to load 15-pound plates onto the bar. That’s the reality of living with a neuromuscular disease. Some things are doable; others, like lifting objects away from my body, are so much harder. It’s the little things that get you—reaching for a grocery shelf, bending over to brush your teeth, or grabbing something from a cabinet. But you know what? I keep showing up. I keep lifting. I keep finding joy in what I can do. And that’s how I thrive.🌟 If you’re out there navigating chronic conditions, remember: celebrate the wins, no matter how small. Find what makes you happy and keep pushing forward.💬 Let me know how you design your workouts or how you add enjoyment to your fitness journey!#CMTSpeakOut #AdaptiveAthlete #ChronicIllnessFitness #NeuromuscularDisease #DisabilityFitness #ShoulderDay #FITTPrinciple #EnjoyYourJourney #Resilience

Chris Cowley’s weight loss result this year has been nothing short of epic 👏🏼💪🏻.We started working together on the 1st of January this year. On that day he weighed in at 113.5 kg. Today his weight is 81.8 kg.So on our weekly checking call earlier today, I asked Chris, what tips could you give others who are wanting to hit their fitness goal and lose that weight? Here are 4 key tips he shared. 1. Know your calories, The most important component of my weight loss journey. Finding a way whereby you can hit your calories without feeling hungry, restricted and definitely cutting those random snacks out in between, especially on flights! ✈️2 Being consistent in the gym. This has been pivotal and a constant motivator. Prioritizing my workouts quickly ingrained the training habit. As I was seeing my body shape improve I felt even more motivated to continue. 💪🏻3. Get your steps in. It seems so simple, but I really noticed the dips occur in my weight when I was really consistent in getting lots of steps done outside of my gym workouts. 4. Track your journey. Seeing my progress every week would spur me on. Looking back and seeing just how much weight I’ve lost made me know (and reassured me) that I was on the right path. It’s been an absolute pleasure working with Chris and a massive thanks also to him for letting me share his story. 😊#flyingfit #pilotweightloss #pilotwellbeing #cabincrewweightloss #onlinefitnesscoaching

What's good everyone, so if you're feeling gym anxiety, I want you to know that it’s totally normal. Almost everyone feels it when they start, so you're not alone. Here’s what you can do: plan ahead. Before you even get to the gym, have a workout plan. That way, you’re not wandering around feeling lost. Also, if crowds make you nervous, try going during off-peak times when it’s quieter.Next, start simple. You don’t need to go all in on heavy weights or complicated machines. Stick to the basics at first—just get comfortable. And this is key: don’t worry about others. Most people at the gym are focused on their own workout, not on what you’re doing. So focus on your own progress. If you’re still feeling anxious, bring a friend. Having someone with you can make it feel less intimidating, plus it's always more fun training with someoneyou know.Lastly, you have to celebrate every small win. Just showing up is progress, so be proud of that. Confidence builds over time—don’t rush it!
