How do I receive money from Zelle on Bank of America app? ›

One of the most common reasons for Zelle not working is insufficient funds in your bank account. Before initiating a transaction, ensure that you have enough money to cover the amount you wish to send or receive. If your account balance is low or in the negative, Zelle may not allow you to complete the transaction.

Someone sent me money with Zelle®, how do I receive it? If you have already enrolled with Zelle^®, you do not need to take any further action. The money will move directly into your bank account associated with your profile, typically within minutes¹.

If your bank or credit union does not offer Zelle^®, you can use the Zelle^® app available through the app or play store with a valid Visa or Mastercard.
