Many believe that the digital nomad life requires owning an online business, being an online consultant or coach, having passive income streams, or establishing a one-person business. I’m here to debunk this myth. Even with a conventional 9 to 5 job, this nomadic lifestyle is achievable, and I am living proof.

Dispelling Assumptions

In the reactions to my article, The Downside of Living as a Digital Nomad,’ I noticed people often assumed I didn’t work or wasn’t productive. To clarify, I do work. In fact, until recently, I was managing two jobs to sustain my nomadic lifestyle.

Let me share my story; maybe it will give you inspiration for your own nomadic journey, and show you how you can use opportunities in your favour.

How It All Started…

My unconventional path commenced in October 2019 after parting ways with my partner of 15 years, with whom I shared a mortgage, a house, and three cats. Leaving my old life behind, I set off into the world with little more than some clothes, a bike, and my car.
