hi , my iphone 14 has 2 IMEI but when i open the sim slot , its not the Dual sim type and i can put only 1 micro sim on it , when your phone is dual the slot must have a holder on the back that can put on hold the second sim on the back but mine is for 1 sim only but in settings - General - about it shows 2 IMEI and says available sim ? why is that for ? can i use the second slot ?
and my country wont register iphone 14 yet , so my sim 1 slot IMEI expired and cant use it , so i tried to use my sim on slot 2 so i could use second IMEI for 3 month and hope until it get expire too , iphone 14 get register code on my country . but now i find out there is no way to use second slot , can you explain it to me ? my phone support only 1 sim ?! so why it says dual sim and has 2 IMEI s ?
iPhone 14, iOS 16

One SIM is a physical Sim and the other is an eSIM. See information in Using Dual SIM with an eSIM - Apple Support
iPhones are only available with two physical SIMs on certain phones when purchased in China Mainland, Hong Kong and Macau. See: Using Dual SIM with two nano-SIM cards - Apple Support

- Dual SIM slot of iPhone14 ProHello everybody.I bought a new iPhone14Pro this morning to replace my iPhone11Pro because I needed a dual SIM iPhone. I checked on Apple website and yes, iPhone14 Pro was supposed to come with dual SIM slot. I didn't ask confirmation to the seller since I was trusting Apple website.But...Wrong. The iPhone14Pro that I bought in Indonesia has only a single SIM slot. I am very very upset.Have a great day 1933

Your iPhone 14 actually HAS Dual SIM.
There is room for 1 physical SIM card and 1 active eSIM card. On the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14 series, you actually also have the option of having 2 active eSIMs (without an active physical SIM card)
So that's why you can see two IMEI numbers.

The other one is for an eSIM. All iPhone 14 units originally sold outside of the USA, China, Hong Kong, and Macau use this configuration.

Because it has one physical SIIM slot and one internal eSIM. Each has its own IMEI.
