Why can’t eBay update my listings with First Class to Ground Advantage? ›

The “First-Class” service will continue to be available on eBay for listings where sellers are shipping with these methods. For this reason, eBay is unable to update seller's listings with First-Class to Ground Advantage.

On the top right of the page click the settings menu (3 vertical dots) and toggle the variations slider if it's not already on. Make sure you're working off a new listing, not a relist or sell similar from a listing without variations.

If you ship with First-Class package, you'll need to update your listings to Ground Advantage. If you use Business policies, you can make this update on the Shipping policy. If you offer calculated shipping, the correct Ground Advantage rates will be reflected.

Click on the listing and on the top left you will see 'revise listing'. You should be able to change the category there.

Ground Advantage™ Cubic

Cubic rates will automatically display in eBay Labels when the cubic price is lower than the non-cubic rate. Weight Limits and maximum package size: Up to 20 lbs. and a cubic feet volume up to 1.0 cubic foot (1,728 cubic inches) and maximum dimensions of 18” on any side.

If you don't see the variation button, this is normally because of two reasons: Listing with variations is not available in this particular category. Variations only work with fixed-price listings. They do not work with auction-style listings.

Go to the Pricing section. Select Buy It Now from the Format dropdown. Select Quantity and enter the number of items you're selling. Complete the rest of your listing and select Done.

Make sure you're using the website. By default the variation setting is hidden on the listing form. Once you unhide the setting it will stick for future listings.

Once someone's bought your item, you can't update the shipping charges from what was originally shown on the listing unless the buyer wants to pay for combined shipping for multiple items or asks for express delivery and is willing to pay for the service.

Open the Sell Your Item form

On the Sell Your Item page, scroll down to the Shipping section (1). At the beginning of this section, click See shipping options (2) to open the dropdown menu. In the dropdown menu, you can switch relevant toggles to add certain fields to the Shipping section.

Go to your active listings page in seller hub, select all listings, click the edit button in the menu above your listings. From there you can use the bulk editor to change the ship from zip code on your listings to ensure accurate rates when calculated shipping is used.

How to change item location on each listing. When you create a new listing, you can choose the item location at the bottom of the page, just before the “Sell if faster” block. There, you can state each item's “ship from” location.
