With Goodbudget’s automatic bank syncing feature offered with the Premium plan, you’re able to connect your real-life banks with your Goodbudget ones. When you link Accounts, your transactions are automatically imported into Goodbudget for easier tracking.
Here’s a breakdown of the kinds of external accounts you can link to Goodbudget.
Q: Which kinds of accounts can I link to?
Supported account types:
- Checking accounts
- Savings accounts
- Credit card accounts
We do not support these account types:
- Investments (i.e. 401ks or IRAs)
- Cryptocurrencies
- Debts / loans (i.e. mortgages, car loans, student loans, etc.)
Q: Is my bank supported?
Goodbudget uses Plaid to connect your GB Accounts and your real-life banks. You can find a full list of financial institutions that Plaid supports on their website. Note that Plaid’s list is maintained solely by them, and may contain types of accounts incompatible with Goodbudget imports. As such, Goodbudget may not be able to be linked to all of the supported financial institutions listed.
