Cryptocurrencydatasets
- CryptoCompare displays a live feed of currently traded cryptocurrenciesin addition to market analysis information for each coin.
- Bloomberg (see access details) offers price data for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Dash, EOS, Ethereum, Ethereum Classic, Litecoin, Monero, XRP, and Zcash as well as cryptocurrency futures data. Use the function CRYP.
- LSEGWorkspace(formerly Refinitiv) provides access to spot prices, news, and commentary for Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum, Litecoin, and Ripple.
- Type crypto in the search box and select FX Guides - Crypto Currency from the dropdown menu to access the Cryptocurrency Guide. (Note: If this view returns no data in your web browser, try again using the desktop application.)
- In the Foreign Exchange menu, click Overview for a dashboard including all covered cryptocurrencies and cryptocurrency exchanges. To view an individual cryptocurrency, select it from the Foreign Exchange dropdown menu. Then, to view individual quotes, click the icon to the left of the instrument. To show all instruments in a monitor, click the Popout icon on the banner.

- CoinMarketCapprovides a list of top cryptocurrenciesand exchanges with key datapoints, including market capitalization. Hover over Cryptocurrencies at the top of the page and select Historical Snapshots to view archived lists from April 2013 to the present day.
- Bitcoincharts offers price and volume data for a variety of cryptocurrencies as well astrade history and market depth metrics for a wide selection of markets.

- Crypto Data Download provides time series price and volume data in daily, hourly, and minute intervals, organized by cryptocurrency exchange. Some exchanges also include historical transactional data, bid/ask spreads, and orderbook snapshots.
- Individual exchanges: In some cases, tick data can be extracted from individual exchanges (e.g.: Bitfinex).
- Kaiko provides transaction-level cryptocurrencymarket data from more than 32 exchanges. Data available to Penn are historical, through 30 April 2021. Email [email protected] from your Penn email address with your request to access the flat files.
