What TEAS Test Takers Really Think About The Exam | ATI (2024)

2 Min Read

Are you preparing to take the ATI TEAS exam as part of an admissions requirement for your nursing or allied health school? While all schools weight the exam differently, we understand how important it is to really do well on this test.

Our goal, as the writers of the exam, is to help you prepare as best you can – from providing helpful six-week study guides and developing prep products with questions just like on test day to a dedicated blog category full of tips, tricks and advice to Facebook Live prep sessions, we’ve got you covered.

Four Test Takers Walked Out Of The TEAS Exam – Here Is What They Thought

To add to the dozens of resources available to you, we turned to students and asked them questions about their experience with the ATI TEAS exam. Not only did they share an inside look at their experience with the test, how they studied and how long they studied for, but they did so when it was fresh in their mind. What we mean by this is that these interviews happened right as they left the test!

You can view all four videos below, but these were the three biggest takeaways.

  • If you think that you can walk in and be successful on the TEAS exam without studying, think again.
  • The science section of the test was the hardest [at least for the students featured in the videos below].
  • Prepare as much as you can. Seriously! If you have longer than a month, use that time. Note: ATI recommends giving yourself six weeks to study for this important test.
