Before joining Turing, developers have to go through the Turing vetting process. Turing uses a combination of automated tests and an AI Matching Engine to match qualified engineers with remote jobs at leading U.S. companies. This unique skill based vetting process has been scientifically crafted to improve upon Silicon Valley vetting standards and find the top 1% software engineers in the world.
Turing’s AI Matching Engine evaluates the results of the MCQ tests and coding challenges to analyze developers’ skills, expertise and work experience. After that, it identifies the best jobs for each candidate based on their talent, availability, and location.
Turing’s vetting process consists of four steps:

3. Check the basic data recovered from it and click on Next.

4. Add your basic information: Name, location, phone number, years of experience and more! The most complete is your profile more opportunities you will have! Click on Finish.

5. Start your first assignment, our Work Experience Survey (it only takes 15 minutes) and will give us a great overview about your profile.

6. Start your first Tech Stack Quiz. They are based on the skills selected by you and can be changed by clicking on Edit My Tech Stacks.

7. After you finish one Tech Stack do your Challenge, but first try the Practical test to get used to the platform (If you have a cloud and /or data profile your challenge can be an Automated Practical Challenge). If you fail, don't worry! A new attempt will be reopened after 3 months.

8. Finish your Turing Profile and wait for our intro call ( we don't estimate a date to have you passing by one but if you have any questions feel free to reach out to us)

Once you complete the steps, the AI Matching Engine will help you finalize your profile, and then it will start presenting your profile to leading U.S. companies for the most suitable remote developer opportunities.
Will Turing allow me to retake a test if I fail?
Yes, Turing allows remote developers to retake the test if they fail to clear it. Developers can retake a test 3 months after their unsuccessful attempt. In this 3 month period, developers can practice the relevant skills and sharpen up their technical knowledge. While retaking the test, developers are only required to repeat the last step where they failed.
