The current practice saves time in displaying or giving visual examples from far areas, students learn better when all domains of learning move together. This also demands that teachers should have sound know-how of technological aspects. he should be able to work independently and manage digital resources efficiently.

An example I’ve seen and used myself is ensuring that learning modules are varied and impactful. Finding different ways to engage learners is possibly more critical in a digital environment than a physical one since you lack the in-person connection. Part of your job really becomes helping students figure out how to be strong independent learners as they don’t have you present in the same way to troubleshoot misunderstandings together.

This is the need of time, all educators need to undergo compulsory digital training to make classes more interesting with changing scenarios. Post covid era classes are way different from pre-Covid era.

We have likely all been students in a classroom, but we have not all been digital students. One of the most effective ways to learn how to teach in a digital environment is by learning in a digital environment. Without that hands-on experience, it can be really difficult to understand the shortcomings of a digital environment and how to navigate them as an educator. Enrolling in online classes or PD is incredibly valuable to learning that space. It provides insights into how some platforms work, strategies other professionals are using to teach digitally, and provides perspective as a digital learner.
