I probably don't to tell you that there are a lot of games on Steam. At last count there were well over 30,000 digital titles on the Valve storefront, ranging from AAA heavy hitters to the weirdest indie games and cash-grab ripoffs that most of us will never see. But how much would it actually set a person back if they decided they wanted to buy every last game on Steam?
A little over half a million dollars, apparently. That's according to Chenggang Wang's website Buy All Steam Games (thanks, TheGamer), which is able to calculate at any given time how much it would cost you to pick the digital storefront clean. At the time of writing, it costs $521,909.63 to buy everything Steam has to offer - that takes into account any discounts that are currently available over there. If you were to purchase everything at full price, you'd be looking at closer to $537,192.37, which is roughly £420,000.
To be clear, this strange and fantastic website doesn't just factor in games on Steam. It basically pulls in anything with a price tag, so that includes DLC, expansions, and other bits like soundtracks and cosmetic bonuses. The site keeps track of how much it'd cost to take the lot every single day, which is awesome. As you can see from the graph below, there are some massive dips whenever Steam holds one of its major sales. You'll also note that the number has consistently crept upwards since 2017, as Steam continues to add more and more titles. Makes sense, obviously.

I'm not entirely sure why you'd want every game on Steam, of course. There are some incredible games on there, for sure, but there are more than a few stinkers to be had. It's not like you'd have to play the bad games, I guess, but I think I'd sleep more soundly in my bed at night if I knew I hadn't paid money for titles like Gabe Newell Simulator.
Still, if you've got half a million to splurge on crap like that, more power to you. My only advice would be that you'll want to invest in a PC with decent memory if you're actually looking install each and every last one of the games you buy.

Steam takes a 30% cut from the revenue generated by game sales on its platform. This means that out of every dollar earned by developers on their games, Steam keeps 30 cents, while the remaining 70 cents goes directly to the developers' pockets.
Cost. Publishing your game is relatively easy and affordable. You only need to create an account and pay a one-time fee of US$100. As long as your game complies with the Steam Terms of Service, you'll be able to publish it on the platform.

Malicious users often operate using dummy accounts that have not purchased any games, items, or wallet credit. In order to make it more difficult for these malicious users to spam, scam, and phish other users, we restrict access to certain community features until an account has spent at least $5.00 USD in Steam.
It's also a community portal where you can connect with friends to see what they're playing, share screenshots and videos, and play cooperative and competitive multiplayer games. Signing up for a Steam account is free, and there are no ongoing costs to use the service.
The figure is from this calculator, that regularly updates with the latest numbers based on what's been added, and what's on sale. Currently, you'd need $556,286.14 to pick up every game at full price, but if you strike now, you'll get it all for $438,155.80 – a bargain, really.
Steam accounts cannot be bought or sold. An account is for the personal use of its creator only. What are the consequences of selling an account? When Steam's support team notices an account has been sold, the account will be permanently locked whether or not it is currently in the possession of the buyer or seller.
And for the low-low price of around half a million, players can purchase every single game if they'd like to. It's highly unlikely that any user would ever purchase every single game from the Steam catalog, but the sheer amount of options are rather remarkable.
The indie title The Hidden and Unkown was purposefully made shorter than two hours so that players could easily ask for a refund. A new indie game called The Hidden and Unknown has appeared on Steam.
