Select the payment you believe was a scam.
Tap the “...” in the top right corner.
Select “Report an Issue.”
Select “I was scammed.”
Note: you can report a payment you believe was a scam within 30 days
How do I report and block a scam account?
Launch the Cash App and tap on a Customer Avatar to view a profile. You can also search for a profile by entering a Name, $Cashtag, Phone Number, or Email
Scroll to the bottom of the profile and tap on “Report” or “Block”

How can I make sure a Cash App giveaway is real and not a scam?
Copycat giveaways might look and feel like the real thing—but there are some easy ways to tell if the giveaway is for real.
You’ll know the giveaway is a scam if:
You’re asked to pay to participate.
You’re asked to share personal or login information in social comments or DMs.
The spelling of the account name or url is incorrect.
How to make sure it’s a real Cash App giveaway:
Check the website url. We post giveaways on “cash.app.” url or reputable partner companies we collaborate with.
Check the spelling of the account name. Cash App will only post on its official verified channels on social media via @CashApp.
Review the details on the website. All Cash App giveaways will have respective rules with a Cash.App domain that will link back to a url that begins with “cash.app.”
