Choose The Most Convenient Way for You
You have several options to deposit/transfer money into your account. You can visit a branch or use one of our Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) or Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs).
We have placed a number of these machines at various locations as well as in our branches for your convenience.
To check where these machines are located, please use our branch locator and search for CDM or ITM.
You can pay with cheques or notes as follows:
- Up to 150 notes at a time
- Up to 25 cheques
To use a CDM or ITM, you must carry your Emirates ID and either have your debit card with you or know your account number.

What is the maximum amount I can deposit at Cash Deposit Machines (CDMs) and Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs)?
The daily cash deposit limit at CDMs and ITMs is AED 100,000. The machine will alert you if you try to deposit more than this amount. Please visit any of our branches to deposit a higher amount.
Can I have a higher than usual cash deposit limit?
Yes, you can request a higher cash deposit limit, but approval will be subject to Emirates Islamic's internal policy.
Why is there a delay in my QuickRemit Transfer?
Here are some of the reasons QuickRemit can be delayed:
- The transfer was initiated after Processing Hours or it’s a bank holiday in the recipient’s country. Your request will be processed the next working day.
- Your beneficiary details are inaccurate, or your transfer was made for business and not personal purposes. In this case, your transfer will be returned within 3 to 5 working days.
- The Bank may require more information for some transfers. If this is the case, your request will need to be processed using Emirates Islamic’s regular Money Transfer service.
What should I do if the machine has not returned my Emirates ID, Card or if I have forgotten my card in the machine?
Please contact our 24-hour Call Centre immediately on +971 600 599 995 for assistance. If you have forgotten your card in the machine, we’ll block it and send you a replacement card.
When you call us, we need the following information:
- Machine ID of the CDM
- Date of transaction
- Deposit amount
- Account number or debit card number
- Your Emirates ID number (if required)
How will I know when my account balance is updated after I have deposited cash into my account?
You’ll receive an SMS on your registered mobile number when you make a deposit into your account. The SMS will state the amount you have deposited.
I don’t have my Debit/Credit Card or my Emirates ID, can I still deposit cash into an Emirates Islamic machine?
No, you will need either your Emirates ID or Debit Card to deposit cash into your account.
What are the service operating timings for Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs)?
ITM service operating hours at Mall of the Emirates are from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm (Saturday to Thursday), and from 1:30 pm to 7:30 pm (Friday and public holidays).
Al Wasl, Dubai – from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm (Saturday to Thursday).
Mirdif City Centre– from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm (Saturday to Thursday).
My cash deposit transaction failed, but my money was not returned to me. What should I do?
Please contact our 24-hour Call Centre immediately on +971 600 599 995 for assistance and have the following information ready:
- Machine ID of the CDM
- Date of transaction
- Deposit amount
- Account number or debit card number
- Your Emirates ID number (if required)
Your request will be processed within 5 working days.
What services are available through ATM?
- Cash Withdrawal
- Card Activation
- Change of Card PIN
- Payment of utility bills, fines, telephone bills, SALIK, airline tickets and credit cards
- Available balance inquiry for accounts, savings, and finances
- Transfer money to your own accounts, other Emirates Islamic accounts, local transfers and QuickRemit to India
- Update your mobile number, email address or Emirates ID
- Request for cheque books, mini statements, online and mobile banking services
What services are available through a Cash Deposit Machine (CDM)?
- Cash deposit to Emirates Islamic or Emirates NBD Accounts
- Cash deposits to Emirates Islamic Finance
- Payment of your utility bills, fines, telephone bills, SALIK, NOL, donations, selected government services and credit cards
What services are available through an Interactive Teller Machine (ITM)?
- Cash Withdrawal
- Cash Deposit
- Cheque Deposit
- Cheque Encashment
