Job Description
Assists with the daily coordination of personnel and resources within a clinical specialty or department.
Coordinates staff scheduling, educational/development activities and performance evaluations.
Collaborates with physicians, nursing, pharmacy and other healthcare team members/departments to determine, coordinate, and provide medical nutrition therapy.
Identifies and resolves issues affecting the delivery of services.
Responsible for management of staffing the department while creating a positive environment.
Monitor that all required protocols are in place and being utilized.
Pharmacy Director is responsible for the evaluation, selection, purchase, storage and control of all drugs and pharmaceuticals utilized in the hospital.
