Whitelist an email address or a domain in Microsoft 365
- Expand Email & Collaboration in the sidebar on the left and navigate to Policies & rules > Threat Policies > Anti-spam inbound policy (Default)
- Scroll down and click Edit allowed and Blocked senders and Domains.
- Add the email address or domain you wish to whitelist.
Bypassing Spam in Microsoft 365
- Open the Exchange Admin Center.
- Click on the Mail Flow drop-down and select Rules.
- Add a new rule for Bypass Spam Filtering.
- From the Apply this rule if… ...
- In the field to the right of the Check names button, type the email address you want to allow.
To whitelist a domain, you'll need to modify your inbound spam policy.
- Sign in to your Microsoft 365 Defender portal.
- Click on Policies & rules in the left-hand menu.
- Choose Threat policies.
- Select Anti-spam inbound policy (Default).
- Scroll down and click on Edit allowed and blocked senders and domains.
How to set up Safe Sender List in Microsoft 365 using Outlook?
- Open Outlook.
- Click HOME at the top menu bar.
- Under Junk heading, click Junk E-mail Options....
- Click on the Safe Senders tab.
- Click Add.
- Type the email address or domain.
- Click OK.
