Venti's Two Build Paths

Venti's best asset is his Elemental Burst, and improving either its Swirl or CRIT damage is crucial to his build choices.

Venti's DPS and Support builds use Viridescent Venerer as his best artifact, so it's up to your current available weapons and artifact stats should you wish to use him with a specific build.

Elemental Mastery Swirl

This sub-DPS build for Venti focuses on stacking as much Elemental Mastery as possible for his Elemental Absorption damage. Using Elemental Mastery offers the best damage against multiple enemies.

Crit Burst DPS

You may use a CRIT build if you cannot find Elemental Mastery main stat artifacts yet. It still offers good damage and may compete with the Elemental Mastery build with enough investment.

Venti's Talent Priority

Venti's Elemental Burst is a defining tool for dealing damage and utility, and should be prioritized accordingly. His Elemental Skill also deals high damage, and leveling it up can be valuable. His Normal Attack will be barely used, so it can be ignored or saved for last.

How to Use Venti

Use Elemental Burst to Chain Elemental Reactions

Venti's Elemental Burst, Wind's Grand Ode, creates a vortex that sucks in all surrounding enemies within range. The vortex deals massive damage and absorbs Cryo, Hydro, Electro, and Pyro Elements, dealing additional damage to enemies trapped inside.

Enemies with elemental auras, like slimes, will immediately imbue their element into the vortex and will be immune to the additional elemental damage. Triggering elemental reactions in the vortex is the best way to deal with pesky elemental auras.

Skyward Sonnet Is Great for Exploration and Dodging

Venti's Elemental Skill, Skyward Sonnet, can be used to create air currents for exploration. Players in search of treasure chests and oculi can take advantage of this skill to reach high places that would otherwise be difficult to reach.

It can also be used to dodge enemies while also gathering them together. You can plunge down on them to deal extra damage!

Passive Talent Makes Gliding a Breeze

Passive Talent: Windrider

Venti's Passive Talent, Windrider, reduces the gliding stamina consumption of all party members by 20%. This allows for easy gliding throughout Teyvat, especially in mountainous Liyue.
