Valentine’s Day is a fantastic opportunity! Not only is it a day about LOVE (what could be better than that?), but the colors, decor, and fanfare are the best.
So let’s stay home and make things unique with a charming table and some delicious food.
Place Setting Ideas
I selected some bold red pieces to set the table for two.
Your table may be more serene. You may choose to use simple white plates or good china.
There are so many accouterments to make it your own.
If your dinnerware is neutral or another color entirely, consider adding a soft pop of Valentine’s pink or red with other elements.
Valentine’s Day Gifts
Use presents as another sweet addition and decoration for the table.
Purchase a treat bag or box; add a tag and ribbon or wrap it up with pretty packaging.

My traditional Valentine’s Day colors (red tulip with green leaves) flower arrangement is the easiest!
You needn’t spend a lot or get elaborate; a simple centerpiece makes a huge difference.
These were from the grocery store, but get the pretty table and the color scheme started.
More ideas include a single rose, red roses, red and white flowers in mason jars, a row of small vases, or even sprinkled rose petals on your dining table.
If you are looking for larger Valentine’s Day centerpieces, consider a combination of bright, vibrant flowers or, the opposite, a soft pink pastel color palette with pale grays.
A different idea: red roses, pink roses, pink lilies, pink alstroemeria, and purple waxflower. Gorgeous!
Lastly, add a personal touch with tinted roses and red hydrangea, which pair excellently together.
