Where does data USA get its data? ›

Data USA is a data-search and -visualization website that aims to make U.S. government data more accessible to the public. Data sources include the U.S. Census, the U.S. Department of Labor, the University of Wisconsin Population Health Institute, and the National Center for Education Statistics.

Real median household income was $80,610 in 2023, a 4.0% increase from the 2022 estimate of $77,540. This is the first statistically significant annual increase in real median household income since 2019.
