During a call on the headphones, the headphones' microphones pick up ambient sound regardless of the settings of theAmbient Sound Controlfunction. This is an intentional featureto enhance the call experience and not a malfunction.
Thanks to the Sidetonefunction, the noise canceling function of your headphonesworks differently during a call than when playing music. If you hear ambient sound, headphone operation sound, or white noise (i.e., a small electrical noise with continuous static sound) during a call, that is also an effect ofSidetoneandnot a malfunction.
