I try to download an app but it asks me to verify so when I do it takes me to my billing info so I try to add my payment info to it and it just tells me this? It was working fine a week ago why is it doing this?

My card keeps failing when I add payment method(no matter what payment method I add)
and when I verify my payment method all it says is “To avoid interruptions to your subscriptions and purchases, verify your payment information or add a new payment method.” This is genuinely frustrating and if I do verify it it just says to verify it

The apple store will not verify my visa payment. The visa is good and works with Amazon and everywhere else but Apple

yeah the only way it worked for me was to use paypal to verify my payment information instead of typing in your card and everything. all i did for paypal was to create an account (since i didn’t have one) and put in my card information so it was really easy just to use paypal to verify.

A “payment declined” or “card declined" message means that the issuer of the credit or debit card you have on file in your iTunes account rejected a charge or account confirmation. It is not an Apple problem; Apple is just passing through the message from your issuer. There are a number of reasons the charge or verification might be declined:
- Apple is not allowed to accept credit or debit cards in your country
- The card is not recognized in your country
- Insufficient balance or account in arrears
- Account suspended for suspected fraud (not necessarily by you)
- Error in card number
- Wrong expiration date
- Wrong security (CVV) code
- Address in your iTunes account does not match exactly the billing address for the card
- The card was not issued in the country of the iTunes store
- You are connected through a VPN provider that does not terminate in the country of the iTunes store you are connected to.

I keep trying to verify my payment but it tells me to put in the cvv everytime and its the correct one but it keeps declining

Hi Apple Support,
I'm a new iPhone user and I'm having trouble with my payment information. I'm trying to buy a Video Star subscription with my new debit card, but I get an error message saying my payment information is not valid.
