If you have trouble with app downloads from your car’s Play Store, you can try a few steps to troubleshoot.

Clear cache and data for your apps

Important: Before you try these steps, make sure that your car is in park.

Clear Play Store cache and data

On your car’s screen, tap Menu Settings System.
Tap Storage Other apps Google Play Store .
Tap Clear cache OK.

Remove and re-add your Google Account

Important: When you sign out of your account, any apps that you downloaded will be removed. After you sign in again, reinstall your apps.

On your car’s screen, tap Menu .
To open, tap the Play Store .
At the top right, tap your profile photo.
Tap Sign out of this account.
Close and reopen the Play Store.
Tap Sign in. Follow the on-screen instructions.

Turn off and on Play Store updates

On your car's screen, tap Menu Settings Apps and notifications.
TapShow all apps Google Play Store .
At the top of your screen, tap Disable Disable app Enable.

Connect to the Internet

To download apps, you have to connect your car to Wi-Fi or a mobile network.

On your car’s screen, check if your car is connected to Wi-Fi .
If you’re offline, check if mobile data and Wi-Fi areon.
- At the top, tap Menu Settings Network and Internet.
- Turn on Mobile data and Wi-Fi.

Tip: If mobile data and Wi-Fi are on but you are still offline, you could be in an area without service. Try again later when you’re in a different location.Or, turn your network off, then on, and try to reconnect.

Check if a system update is available for your car

At the top of your car’s screen, tap Menu Settings System System update.
Check for update availability:

If the screen says, 'Your system is up to date', you don’t need to complete an update.
If the screen doesn’t say, 'Your system is up to date', at the top right, tap Check for update. Follow the on-screen instructions.
