The pair of Kew Gardens 250th anniversary coins sold for a combined £580 at auction after attracting bids from multiple perspective buyers.
The Royal Mint originally released the Kew Gardens anniversary coin in 2009 and it quickly became extremely sought after by collectors.
Just 200,000 copies of the coin entered circulation in the UK.
It is listed by the Royal Mint as one the rarest coins in circulation today.
