Chipotle has always been one of my favorite go to’s for keto friendly options, and they’ve made it even more official with the new Keto Salad Bowl!It’s especially greatwhen you’re short on time or simply don’t feel like cooking.
If you order the Keto Salad Bowl as is, the ingredients are: Romaine lettuce, carnitas, hot salsa, cheese, and guacamole.
Macros for the entire bowl: 590 Calories / 42g fat/ 32g protein/ 7g net carbs
I had the opportunity to try the new keto salad bowl from Chipotle, and it’s delicious! I also love to build my own salad bowls, so I decided to put together a complete list of all of the low carb/ keto friendly options available, so you’ll have it next time you’re ordering Chipotle!

Is Chipotle Chicken al Pastor keto-friendly? Pineapple is not known to be keto-friendly and each serving of Chipotle's Chicken al Pastor contains pineapple juice. For a keto-friendly entrée, we offer two Lifestyle Bowls including The Wholesome Bowl and the Keto Salad Bowl.
Due to their carb content, rice and beans are a no-go on keto. A serving of white rice contains 39 net carbs, brown rice has 34 net carbs, black beans have 15 net carbs, and the pinto beans have 13 net carbs... so avoid these.
So if you get 2,000 calories a day, between 900 and 1,300 calories should be from carbohydrates. That translates to between 225 and 325 grams of carbs a day. You can find the carbohydrate content of packaged foods on the Nutrition Facts label.
You can drink zero-calorie sodas while on keto. These include Diet co*ke, co*ke Zero, Diet Pepsi, and other no-carb options. You can even make homemade soda with carbonated water, fresh fruits, and plant-based sugar additives.
The ketogenic diet typically reduces total carbohydrate intake to less than 50 grams a day—less than the amount found in a medium plain bagel—and can be as low as 20 grams a day. Generally, popular ketogenic resources suggest an average of 70-80% fat from total daily calories, 5-10% carbohydrate, and 10-20% protein.
Is Guacamole Keto-Friendly? Yes, absolutely. As mentioned above, guacamole is loaded with healthy monounsaturated fats and minimal carbohydrate content. This makes it a perfect low-carb, high-fat keto snack when served with keto-friendly chips or raw veggies.
