Teams (2024)

Teams are the groups in which anyone can chat, exchange lives and participate in events to win prizes! The person should have reached 36 levels to join a team or to make a team! Scroll down to see how to make a team, how to join a team and team chat, and many more!

Tap the icon in the bottom left-hand corner to open the Team window.

• You need to be connected to the internet to access teams.
• Teams may not be available on all platforms.

Team members collect two types of points together:

• The team score, which is calculated by adding up all the points earned by a team for beating levels. You get one point for each level you beat as a team. Both regular levels and rounds of The Golden Cup count toward your achievement. Your team score is what affects your team's position on the leaderboard.
• Weekly help points, which you get for sending lives to your teammates: each life you send earns you one point. You can check the team window to see your team's current number of weekly help points and check the list of your team members to see their scores. This score resets every week.

How to create a team[]

You can only create a team if you're currently not on any other team.

• Open the team window and go to the Create team tab.
• Enter your team name. This field is mandatory. Important: Once your team is created, you can't change its name!
• Enter your team description, choose its badge, and type.
• Set the required level for entry. Players who are below that level in the game won't be able to join your team. Important: the required level can't be higher than your level in the game.
• Tap the Create button. Creating a team costs 2000 in-game coins.

How to join an existing team[]

Choose one of these ways to join an existing team:

• Go to the Join team tab and tap any team
• Go to the Top teamte and tap any team
• Tap the Search button in the Join team or Best teams tab, enter a team name, and tap one of the teams in the search results
• Ask your friend for their team's ID. To find it, tap the team's badge: there's a combination of letters and numbers in the pop-up window. If you want to find a team using its ID, type it into the search bar.
• Go to the Friends tab, tap a friend's name, and then tap the team they're on. The team window will open. If you want to join that team, tap the Join button. If it's a closed team, your request will be sent to the team leader.

The team leader can decline your request or remove players from the team. You can also choose to leave a team yourself. In both cases, you can only request to rejoin the team after a 7-day waiting period provided that the team hasn't reached the maximum number of members (30).

Can I invite a friend to join my team?[]

You can invite friends to join your team. To do that, you need to go to the Friends tab in the Teams menu, tap the friend you want to invite, then tap "Invite to my team." Your friend will see an invitation in the Inbox tab of their in-game tablet and can choose to accept or reject it.

If the "Invite to my team" button doesn't appear, it means that either the selected friend is already on your team or they haven't reached the minimum required level to join teams.

Please note that you can invite a maximum of ten friends per day. You can resend an invitation to the same friend only after seven days have passed.

How do I switch teams?[]

It's possible to switch teams in the game. However, you can only be a member of one team at a time.

If the team you want to switch to is an open team, you'll be prompted to confirm the team change after tapping Join. If the team is a closed one, you need to leave your current team first.

To leave your current team, tap the About button in the My Team tab and select Leave.

• If you switch teams while a team event is on, you won’t receive any rewards for that event.
• Be careful: if you change teams frequently, you'll have to wait a while before you can request lives from your new teammates.

What can a team leader do?[]

The team leader is usually the person who created the team. They can change the settings (team description, required level, badge, type).

They can also remove players from the team if necessary. Removed players can request to rejoin the team after a 7-day waiting period provided that the team hasn't reached the maximum number of members (30).

If the leader leaves the team, whoever joined the team earliest becomes the new leader.

Attracting players to my team[]

So you created a team and picked out a nice badge, but you still have no teammates? Don't worry! Here are some tips that will help you find new teammates and maybe even new friends!

• Writing a description that aligns with your team's philosophy is half the job. That way, new players will understand your goals.
• We recommend that you don't require a high level for joining new teams. This will help you attract players who haven't reached high levels yet, but who want to play, compete, and help their teammates.
• If you already have teammates, log in to the game more often to exchange lives with them. An active team is a key to success!
• Join the official Facebook community and invite other players to join your team.

How do I find a team by ID?[]

To make finding your friends' teams easier, we've made it possible to search for teams using their IDs. You can type in a team ID the same way you'd type in a team name.
If you lose your progress, our Support team can use your team's ID to find your account and restore your game.Here's how you can find a team's ID:

• Tap the team badge.
• The team's ID is at the top of the About window and will be a combination of numbers and letters.

Team Chat[]

You can find the Chat tab in the team window. In the Chat you can:

• Send messages to your teammates.
• Exchange lives.
• Get notified when a player leaves or a new player joins your team.

A green dot on a player's profile picture indicates they're currently online.

It's impossible to delete a message from the chat once it's been sent, so make sure not to share any sensitive or personal information in the chat.

Lives[]

Team members can send lives to each other.

Open the Chat tab and tap Request. All your team members will see it and will be able to send you lives. During the time of a request, you can only send lives once.

By helping your team member, you get 5 coins and Weekly help points for your team score. This score resets every week.

Team Events[]

Compete with other teams by playing levels to earn huge rewards. There are two main events that require team participation:

• Team Chest- Collect Golden Shields with your team. Earn shields by completing a Level
• Gardeners League- Compete with other teams by earning more Shields
• Special Decor Events: Earn Event points as a team to get special decorations for you're garden. These events occur every few months. Two of these events were held as of May 2021
• Help a Teammate: Help a teammate beat levels to get coins and double the number of event points. These were only held during the Special Decor Events
