A new study has confirmed what many of us have suspected for a long time — vegans are at a much higher risk than the general population of developing what has come to be known by psychologists as Moral Superiority Disorder (abbreviated as MSD).
Symptoms of MSD are not life threatening. However if left untreated they can make life very difficult for the afflicted’s friends, family, co-workers, and basically anyone they come into contact with.
Vegans who suffer from Moral Superiority Disorder often display the following symptoms:
- acting as though they are better than other people who eat meat, dairy, or eggs
- seeing themselves as saviors of the planet and animals
- a religious-like obsession with converting those around them to their way of life
- an excessive need for attention
- a suspicious and unnatural affinity for animals over humans
