• What is included in Premium?

  Select Premium plans now include 15 hours of audiobook listening time every month from our subscriber catalog of over 250,000 titles. Unused listening hours expire at the end of each month and do not carry over. Learn more about our Premium plans.

• Do I need a Premium plan to access audiobooks on Spotify?

  No, you can also get access through purchasing individual audiobooks from the Spotify Web Player (Learn more) or subscribing to the Audiobooks Access plan (Learn more).

• Can I buy audiobooks in the Spotify app?

  For now, audiobooks on Spotify can only be purchased in the Spotify Web Player, but you can listen in the app once you’ve unlocked a title. Head to open.spotify.com, find an audiobook you want to listen to, and follow the steps to check out. Then head back to the app on any device to start listening.

• How does the Audiobooks Access plan work?

  With the Audiobooks Access plan, you now get 15 hours of audiobook listening time every month from our audiobooks subscriber catalog. Unused listening hours expire at the end of each month and do not carry over. Your music listening experience will be on our free, ad-supported service. If you’re an existing Premium subscriber or a Premium plan member, you’ll need to cancel your current plan first before joining Audiobooks Access. Learn more.

  If your audiobook rights belong to a publisher, ask them if they’re distributing on Spotify. If you’re an independent or self-published author, the easiest way to make your audiobook available on Spotify is through Findaway Voices.
