Southwest is ready for spring break with a new sale for travelers looking to "get away."
The airline's latest "Wanna Get Away" sale has one-way deals as low as $49. The sale is valid on tickets purchased before March 14 at 11:59 p.m. PST.
Travelers can purchase discounted tickets for travel on Tuesdays and Wednesdays within the continental United States between March 26 and June 5. However, discounted travel to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and international destinations is limited between March 26 through May 22.
Travel + Leisure spotted one-way deals available such as:
- Chicago, IL (Midway) to Nashville, TN - $49
- Denver, CO to Albuquerque, NM for $49
- Denver to Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN for $49
- Las Vegas, NV to Salt Lake City, UT for $49
- Nashville, TN to Atlanta, GA for $49
Popular spring break destinations such as Orlando, New Orleans, and Fort Lauderdale are also included in the sale, however the discount is not as low as the markets with the $49 fares. For example, a flight to Orlando, FL from Cleveland, OH is discounted to $115.
The sale also applies to inter-island travel between Hawaii, where visitors to Honolulu (Oahu) can travel to Hilo, Maui, or Kauai for $50 one-way.
Southwest's route map and operations span 120 airports in 11 countries. The airline is known for low prices, and tickets that include two free checked bags with no change or cancellation fees.
