Is it better to Sign in with Apple? ›

Sign in with Apple provides users with more transparency and control when setting up new accounts and using their favorite apps. Sign in with Apple will be required in any app in the App Store that uses third-party sign-in services to set up and authenticate user accounts.

If you or someone else enters your password, security questions, or other account information incorrectly too many times, your Apple ID automatically locks to protect your security and you can't sign in to any Apple services. Learn how to unlock your Apple ID.

You can also go to the Apple ID account website to help you find your Apple ID. Go to the Apple ID account website, click Sign In, click “Forgot Apple ID or password?” then follow the onscreen instructions.

When you see a Sign in with Apple button on a participating app or website, it means you can set up an account using your Apple ID. No need to use a social media account, fill in forms or choose another new password.

Account recovery is a process designed to get you back into your Apple ID account when you don't have enough information to reset your password. For security reasons, it might take several days or longer before you can use your account again.

If you can't click your Apple ID

You usually only have one Apple ID which you can use both with iCloud and iTunes/App store so it is the same password- there is no separate password for iCloud unless you are specifically using one Apple ID for iCloud and another one for iTunes/App store.
