SBI Debit Card PIN Generation via SMS, Mobile Banking & ATM (2024)

SBI customers can do the SBI PIN generation by using any of the following methods:

• SBI ATM PIN generation through ATM
• SBI debit card PIN generation online through Internet Banking
• SBI ATM PIN generation by SMS
• SBI debit card PIN generation through customer care number

SBI ATM/debit card PIN generation process can be done through any State Bank ATM. Customers can follow the below-given instructions to do the SBI ATM PIN generation through ATM:

Step 1:Go to the nearest State Bank ATM. Swipe your State Bank debit card into the ATM machine.

Step 2:Select the 'PIN Generation' option from the screen.

Step 3:Enter the11-digit account numberand select 'Continue.'

Step 4:Enter yourregistered mobile phone numberand click the 'Confirm' button.

Step 5:Enter the OTP received on your mobile number.

Step 6:Create a 4-digit debit card PIN/ATM PIN and click ‘Confirm’. After successful SBI PIN generation, a confirmation message will be displayed on the ATM screen.

One can also do the SBI debit card PIN generation online with the help of State Bank’s online banking services. Below are the steps that need to be followed:

Step 1: Log in to the SBI net banking portal and select the 'Cards' option.

Step 2: Click on the 'Debit Cards' option.

Step 3: Select' Instant PIN Generation' under the ‘Request’ tab.

Step 4: Enter the State Bank debit card number. Now, create a new PIN for your ATM/debit card.

Step 5: Enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number for verification. The user will soon be notified after successfully completing the SBI ATM PIN generation.

State Bank of India customers can do their SBI ATM PIN generation by sending an SMS from the registered phone number to 567676 in the following format-

State Bank of India also allows its customers to generate SBI ATM Card PINs with the help of a customer care number. Below are the steps that need to be followed:

• Customers must call on the following SBI customer care numbers from their registered phone number:

• After dialling the above-given numbers, select a preferred language.
• Press 2 to select ‘ATM and Prepaid Card’.
• Press 1 to select ‘SBI ATM PIN generate.’
• Enter your SBI debit card number.
• Press 1 to confirm.
• You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number, which will be valid for 2 days.
• Now, go to any nearby SBI ATM.
• Insert your card into the ATM machine. Select the ‘Banking’ option from the ATM screen.
• Click on ‘PIN change’.
• Enter the 11-digit account number and select 'Continue.'
• Enter your registered mobile phone number and click the 'Confirm' button.
• Enter the OTP received on your mobile number.
• Create a 4-digit debit card PIN/ATM PIN and click ‘Confirm’.After successful SBI PIN generation, a confirmation message will be displayed on the ATM screen.

One can change/reset their SBI debit card PIN with the help of SBI's net banking services. Here are the steps that need to be followed to reset SBI ATM PIN:

• Step 1: Log in to the SBI online banking portal.
• Step 2: Click on the ‘Cards’ tab and select ‘Debit Cards’.
• Step 3: Click the ‘PIN Reset/Regeneration’ option from the ‘Request’ tab.
• Step 4: Select the debit card number for which the PIN regeneration is required.
• Step 5: Click ‘Continue’ and select a reason for the SBI ATM PIN change.
• Step 6: The user will receive an OTP on their registered mobile number.
• Step 7: As a next step, the user will have to go to any nearby State Bank ATM for the further process.
• Step 8: Insert your ATM card and select ‘SBI new ATM PIN generation using One Time Password’.
• Step 9: Now, enter the OTP that was sent to the registered mobile number.
• Step 10: Enter the registered mobile number and click ‘OK’.
• Step 11: Create a new ATM PIN/Debit Card PIN and click ‘Confirm’.
