Getting started with Automated Investor is easy and can help get you to your goals faster. With low fees of just 0.24%,1 you can start investing with as little as $1,000. That means that for every $1,000 invested, you'll pay just $0.20 per month, billed quarterly.
Understanding your potential robo-advisor fees
With some of the lowest fees in the industry, the annual advisory fee forAutomated Investor covers all transactions, trades, transfers, rebalancing, advice and account administration. That means you won't pay any additional fees when securities are bought or sold.

Automated Investor manages your investments for you based on your goals, risk tolerance and time horizon. Here are some more details around minimums and fees that you may find helpful:
- Automated Investor requires a $1,000 minimum investment.
- Automated Investor charges a 0.24% annual advisory fee, billed quarterly.
- There are times when additional fees may be charged, such as fees for wire transfers, regulatory transactions for ETFs and other required fees. For details on these possible additional fees, please see the Automated Investor Wrap Fee Program Brochure.
- The billing cycle begins in the month following the initial portfolio investment.

The annual advisory fee is 0.24% of invested assets, billed quarterly, with a minimum investment of $1,000. Your annual advisory fee doesn’t include ETF fees and expenses which are reflected in the daily pricing of the fund, or other account level fees as described in our Automated Investor Wrap Fee Program Brochure
The robo-advisor fee is 0.24% of assets held in your portfolio. You can view your quarterly fee by:
- Logging in to your account on usbank.com and accessing your Automated Investor dashboard
- First, go to View Investment Details, then Account Details
- Next, choose Account Activity, then filter Transactions, then choose Other
You should see Advisory Fee in the transaction description when you view the transactions. This will help you better understand what you are being charged for the robo-advisor service.
Robo-advisors, like Automated Investor, typically have lower fees than traditional wealth managers. The cost to use a robo-advisor generally ranges from 0.25% to 0.50% of your portfolio compared to 0.5% to 1.5% for traditional advisors.
The annual advisory fee is billed quarterly, so you pay the fee four times per year.
