Details: Robinhood Gold offers members a handful of perks for $5 monthly. Some of the biggest include a boosted APY on uninvested brokerage deposits and better margin rates. Robinhood Gold members pay no interest on the first $1,000 they borrow; however, members who let their free trial expire will immediately begin accruing interest on that money.

If you don't want to pay monthly fees to Robinhood after your free trial expires, make sure to repay any margin you've borrowed. Your Robinhood Gold membership renews automatically, so if you want to cancel, you must do so manually.

How you earn it: Refer 10 friends to Robinhood Gold. They must sign up for the Robinhood Gold Card waitlist through your referral link before subscribing to Robinhood Gold. Referred customers must pay for the first month of Robinhood Gold (the free trial doesn't count).

Details: Anyone can qualify by signing up for the Robinhood Gold Card waitlist; it's not exclusive to Robinhood users. It's pretty straightforward -- once a friend links their bank account, both members get free stock. Most people will earn $5 worth of stock per referral.
