How do I contact ProQuest? ›

Prior to its acquisition by Clarivate, ProQuest made its own set of bold business acquisitions. Its 2015 acquisition of Ex Libris (SLN Nov 2015) catapulted its role as a technology provider for academic libraries, revolving around Alma rather than the Intota platform it was developing internally.

If you are having trouble logging into the school's or library's website, you will need to contact the school or library directly for help. If you are having problems connecting to ProQuest after following the remote access instructions please double check your personal firewall and browser cookie settings.

Creating an Account and Signing In

Click on the profile icon and select the Sign into My Research link (located in the upper, right-hand corner of any page in the ProQuest platform) to create an account or sign into an existing account.

There is a one-time $95 fee to choose open access publishing. If you choose traditional publishing, your manuscript will be available in a subscription-based database.

You cannot change your password manually. If you need to change your password, click on the link labeled Forgot Your Password? to reset your password. An email will be sent to remind you of your password.

Most of this content is only available to subscribing institutions. If you are affiliated with an educational establishment, a company, local public or state library, try to search for its name in the 'Find your library' search box, either by entering the name of the institution or its domain name, e.g. proquest.com.

Find Your Library search:

Navigate to ProQuest and search by institution name or domain (ie State University, university.edu, etc). If you find your institution, click the hyperlink and you will navigate to the remote login page they provided.

When logged into ProQuest, click on the My Research and Language section icon. Click on Create My Research Account in the drop-down menu. Enter in the required fields and click Create Account button. Once created, you are signed into your account and can begin using it.

Where do you find the ProQuest ID? ›

From within the ProQuest interface you can locate your account number in the URL at the top of the page. From within the ProQuest Administrator Module your account number is located towards the top left.

You can also Email or Print any selected records. Save records to a bibliographic manager like RefWorks or New RefWorks (subscription and account required) or Save a copy of the record to one of the supported file formats.
