Read our mission statementWhat Are Pokémon?
In the world of Pokémon, Pokémon are creatures of all shapes and sizes who live alongside humans. People known as Pokémon Trainers form lasting friendships with their Pokémon partners, and as a team, they go on adventures, train to improve their skills, and battle in friendly competitions. During their journeys, Pokémon grow and become more experienced and even, on occasion, evolve into stronger Pokémon. Ask a child what their favorite Pokémon is, and you’re bound to get an enthusiastic response. There are over a thousand Pokémon for you and your child to discover together!
Gotta Catch 'Em All
Many kids simply love to collect—whether it’s trading for cards of their favorite Pokémon, completing a Pokédex in the Pokémon video games, watching the Pokémon animated series, or bringing Pokémon plush home. Collecting opens up many ways for kids to connect with families and friends. What’s better than having fun and sharing that excitement with others?
